Finding motivation to work out can be challenging. There are so many distractions and less physically demanding alternatives to spending an hour at the gym or working out at home. Even when we do get to the gym or start a home workout, having the desire to work hard and push ourselves is another challenge. For those times when you think you can’t finish your workout, or you don’t want to workout at all, it can help to have some pick-me-ups.
It’s incredibly daunting to know that you’ve got a lot of weight to lose, and you may fall into the trap of looking on enviously (usually on social media) at others who seem to be quickly and effortlessly losing weight. Reader, mind your own business and focus on yourself. And know that even if you feel like your weight loss is slow going, it’s more than you were doing, and that is something to be celebrated.
Whoever has ever attempted to gain weight whether it’s 2kgs or 5kgs, it doesn’t matter,but we all agree that eating healthy and exercising is important to achieve this. However, all this works best with a little motivation. It’s not always simple to navigate the path to your dreams, sometimes dotted with hills to climb, hurdles to be overcome, and hard times that make you feel like quitting. That’s why I find them so important.
